Got Questions?
Good to know.
Everything you need to know before your first class.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable workout clothes you can move in and water. We train outdoors so dress for the weather. Layer up in winter, light kit in summer.
Do I need any equipment for my first class?
No. We'll lend you everything you need on the day. Once you start training regularly, you'll want to get your own gloves, hand wraps, and shin guards. Our coach will help you pick the right gear when you're ready.
What if it rains?
We train rain or shine. On rainy days we move to a covered spot still on Barceloneta beach, and we always announce the rain location on our WhatsApp group the day of the class. We only cancel in extreme weather, and you'll be notified directly.
Where exactly is the class?
We meet at Parque de la Barceloneta on Passeig Marítim. Look for the group on the sand. View on Google Maps.
Do I need experience?
None at all. Most students start as complete beginners and our coach scales every class to your level. If you'd rather start with a structured beginner program before joining group classes, take a look at Base Camp, our free six-week course built specifically for first-timers.
What if I can't make a class I booked?
Cancel through your account at least 8 hours before the class starts. Your spot is released with no penalty. Late cancellations and no-shows count as a class used. Pack users see one class deducted. Subscription users lose that day's slot.
Are classes in English or Spanish?
Both. Our coach teaches in English and Spanish, switching naturally depending on the group. Whichever language you're more comfortable in, you'll be able to follow along easily.
What's the difference between the class types?
Sunrise, Sunset, and Weekend classes are pure Muay Thai: technique drilling, pad work, conditioning, and controlled sparring. Orbitals is functional training: strength, mobility, stretching, and conditioning, designed as the perfect complement to your Muay Thai. Most students do both to round out their training.
